fuel pumps turning themselfs on

My fuel pumps are turned on when ingintion is turned on , through a realay,sometimes i will leave my car and one minute later the pump will turn on?
Is it just a buggerd relay, is a 30amp relay big enought for two fuel pumps (vl fuel pump and small pusher pump)
