7mge into a Crown

Hey all. First post here, got directed here by a friend of mine.
I'm either crazy or I'm not, but this is what I'm thinking of doing.
I'm looking at putting a 7mge into a 1975 Toyota Crown Super Saloon (modem MS-85 SS).
As my Crown has a 4M engine, I'm told the 7M will just drop straight in, as the engine mounts are the same (or so I'm told). I'm looking at getting a front cut so I get all the wiring, etc etc, from a supra or a cressida.
A few questions.
I'm obviously going to have to upgrade the brakes. As I will most likely get the front cut with all the wiring etc, I should obviously use the brakes that come with the cut on the Crown, for the front discs. Would I be alright with keeping the drums on the rear, or should I upgrade them to discs?
I kind of like the instrument cluster how it is at moment, in its analogue form. Is it possible at all to keep the analogue ones, or will I have to get a digital dash put in.
The Crown currently has a 3 speed auto transmission in it. Obviously, I'm going to have to change the transmission anyway. How hard would it be to convert it from auto to manual? What would need doing.
I'm sure I'll have to do some other stuff like get better suspension etc in, but if anyone can help me with those questions, I'll be grateful.
Cheers all,
Rob
