Driveshaft REMOVAL - Please help - Why is this happening/not happening? Sat, 27 November 2004 11:14 Go to previous message
Ok. I'm working on my parents 626 Mazda Sad

I've got the Driveaxle nut off but I can't for the life of me get the CV joint spline to slide out of the hub. I have tried hitting with a hammer (probably not good for it) and a 3 jaw puller (took the brake caliper/rotor off to allow the puller to grip something. When I tighten up the puller to press the shaft out it seems to be stretching the jaws rather than budge it Sad

On my corolla the shaft just slid out of hub. Any ideas.
Just trying to replace a CV Joint.

Thanks
