well its finally comin back together[slowly but surely]
engine is an 18rg base bored out to 2.2l with a set of 408" lift cams big ported head,they have been opened up to 45mm while the in.man. has been opened out to 48mm.the internals consist of carrilo rods & custom made forged pistons runs 12.5:.hangin off the rear is a custom made alloy flywheel and a semi solid button clutch and heavy duty pressure plate.induction is via a set of 48mm dellortos with 44mm chokes.ex gasses exit through a set of works copy 4-2-1 extractors.lots of small improvements to the dizzy,sump and oil pump.the suspension is ra60 struts running vl comm.calipers and vented rotors koni inserts,24-27 adj swaybar adj strut brace a custom adj front cross member for extra camber longer threaded castor rods for more castor{it runs about 5.5 deg}.the rear is runnin corona discs and calipers,adj koni shocks,adj panhard bar and a 4.1 lsd.inside it has a full six point cage,carbonfibre race seat ,5pt harness full array of autometer gauges{oil press,oil temp,fuel,water}and a 11000rpm vdo tacho. will try to get some pics up in nezt couple of days.cant wait to get it up and runnin again as it hasnt been out for nearly 3yrs.cheers nev
