Just out of interested i rang my local toyota dealer and wanted to get a price on a 1JZ...
next day i receive a call telling me the engine is available brand spanking new. Of course it had to come from japan but didn't come with required bits such as, ECU, Starter motor etc etc. So basically for the block with the turbos i was told it would only be a small $15,000
So if anyone is interested go down to your local toyota dealer and order a 1JZ from japan, else buy a half cut for almost 1/5 of that price with all the gear already on it!!
