Sun, 27 February 2005 08:15 It seems that finding a second hand 2JZGE Manual Bellhousing is going to be damn near impossible and the price from toyota put more than a frown on my face at $515 with a three week wait, and thats friggen trade price I think the only option i have is to have my 1GGTE bellhousing modified to fit a JZ series motor, i have a couple of questions when doing this: A: Is it possible to modifiy a 1GGTE bellhousing to fit onto a JZ series motor, i.e. will all the right bits line up, i.e. starter motor, clutch fork, etc etc B: Has anyone done it, what did it cost, would it be less hassle to just bite the bullet and pay the $500 odd dollars for the bellhousing? C: would it be possible to use and auto 2JZ or 1JZ bellhousing and modifiy that to fit my W58 then make provision for the clutch fork and slave mount? p.s. What engine mounts are the same as a 1JZ as i simply cannot afford the $350 per side for brand spankers ones (would a certain australian made car have identical or similar mounts to possibly save on some costs?) p.p.s. yes i searched... p.p.p.s. R154 is not an option as it is not available and i cannot afford one even if it were...damn i hate money and my lack thereof Too many frowns in this post, please help me turn them upsidedown...
