cams?? 2tg

hey guys i just pulled the roker cover offmy almosr dead 2tg and the cams say 88262 which matches the type of head i have. but the last number ( the 2 ) is stamped with a cross and a one is stamped next to it. what does this mean???? and i found how bad my timing chain was. it was loose enough in certain spots of revolution to hit the rocker cover.  ohwell glad to have a new engine. lol
