quick 6 Regular Location: Brissy Registered: December 2002	96jet. vs commo with 1jzgte Fri, 25 March 2005 12:40 hey guys. the time has come to look at starting a new project there for my unfinished project has come up for sale. was featured in issue 89 of street commodores as 96JET car has a 1jzgte mounted in the engine bay with a full three inch mandrel bent stainless exhaust. 540cc injectors. Still needs turbo set up and cooler to be running again. with a big single and frount mount this car has made 401hp at the wheels on 25psi. running an autronic smc and cdi unit. all wiring has been hidden and the engine bay smoothed and detailed in prizmatiqe. Look awsome. motor also has been detailed with almost every thing polished or chromed. currently sitting on a set of momo status. 18*8 with near new rubber. custom dash with 2 spit fire gagues mounted where air con was and an eboost controller. all fibreglassed in. custom centre console. all smoothed out with on ash tray or lighter. has a gear boot from a vy ss fibreglassed in. Note the car has no seats at this stage. (was going custom leather but not going to happen now. battery in mounted in the boot along with a 600hp fuel pump. lowered 2"all round. all the car need to be put back to it former glory is your choise of turbo set up,/ cooler. gear box. (i am willing to help with this as i have done lots of reshearch on the subject.) the car has a manual pedal box.and also needs seats. i can also help with this. this is the perfect chance for some one with some mechanicl knowledge to have a unique car for little cost. chasing $8000 for the whole car as is. willing to negotiate on price a little. or may swap for a decent road bike. with the right turbo set up this car can make big power at the wheels easy. i may also consider selling the engine conversion seperate or fully compleating the car if there is interest in it.
