Intercooler cores new??

Does any one know where to get intercooler cores from?
I have a friend who is a boilermaker and has the skill to weld any thickness aluminium in any shapes needed so i thought i would be able to put him to good use hehe....
i had thought of getting a few cores and getting them made up in a "one size fits all" intercooler but it will depend on the cores i can get hold of.
The welding of end tanks and piping + pressure testing should not cost more than 75-100 bux per intercooler so if someone can find some cheap cores i will buy a few and sell them here @ cost price a. so i can get a good, new, cheap fmic... and b. so other toymods people can to hehe
