I know this has been discussed before, but I cant find the info I need.
I'm in the process of swapping my gen 1 3SGE engine for a gen 3 with a ST204 gearbox. The speedo drive on this box is electronic and the old one mechanical. I've already swapped the drive mechanisms over and have a question about the wiring - do I hook up the old speed sensor (in the dash I assume) to the new ECU or leave it disconnected? Are there any other connections I'll have to make to get the new ECU running properly with regard to the speedo?
Thanks,
Andy
