ae92 lowering: cut the springs or genuine one

ok guys..i own a ae92, with a 4a-fc engine, done a few mods to the engine. as i am aware, the 4a-fc is weak(dunno bout the one i have. Got pretty good guts). but who cares.
anyways i;m thinking of of lowering it. Do u guys think it worth putting th bitch down to its ass.
If so, which one is better? cut them or a genuine one?
i do have a budget for the mags and lowering so, keep that in mind.
if i do put the ass down...would there be more aerodynamic. (more speed) and more smooth
+ any other notes about lowering ass
