Supra Saiyan Regular Registered: August 2004	clutch prob.... Tue, 10 May 2005 10:26 umm long story short, I didnt notice that my clutch fluid reservoir was nearly empty. Yesterday i had trouble shifting into gear and yeah, got home and looked at my reservoir and it was empty. The clutch pedal also stopped springing back when i push it in. I topped up the reservoir this morning but the clutch pedal still doesnt spring back, and im still locked out of all the gears except for first. I dont know how I managed to drive home yesterday like that...I couldnt shift into gear. For some reason, I could shift when the engine was off, so on the straights, i had to turn the engine off, shift to the next gear, then turn the engine back one. On the last leg however, although the clutch pedal wasnt completely springing back, i could shift to 2nd, then to 3rd, but i couldnt downshift back to second...i dunno im confused y this happened. I'm guessing that i must've been driving with the clutch fluid below the minimum level for sometime. And after driving like how i did yesterday on the way home...that cant be good. I'm just wondering if any1 can explain what happened on the way home and the extent of the damage to the clutch or transmission if any... I've booked the car in for a service so yeah, i hope i can drive to the mechanic. [Updated on: Tue, 10 May 2005 10:29] [Report message to a moderator]
