Registered: August 2004	Gen1 1G-GTE Cam Covers onto Gen2 1G-GTE head Sat, 14 May 2005 07:25 Hey all, I want to replace the cam covers on my Gen2 1G-GTE with the cam covers from a Gen1 1G-GTE (Gen1 pic below..) Basically I like the look of the Gen1 items and they have the indented writing on them and are nice and flat on both sides, unlike my Gen2 ones where the right hand side one has the oil filler cap sitting on a big raised section at the back. What I wanted to know is the 2 oil breather hoses on my Gen2 covers are on the sides of the raised section with the oil filler cap. The one on the Gen1 cover is almost in the middle of the cover. Would the Gen1 covers bolt up to the holes on my Gen2 head and would it matter if the oil breather is in a different place? Thanks - Chris. [Report message to a moderator]
