1986 ST162 Celica SX
Stock as a rock
Power steering, air conditioning, 5 speed manual gearbox synchros all in reasonable nick
205,000km
Engine rebuilt 15,000km ago (although looks like wrong size big end bearings were used)
New front tyres, 3 months rego
Things that are fucked :
Barely legal rear tyres
Oil leak out of power steering rack (old seal)
Oil leak out of rear main seal housing (old seal)
#1 big end bearing gone
Heater hose leaking coolant at water junction on g/box side of block.
Bottom end needs a rebuild (new bearings, possible crank/rod machining), piston rings are only 15,000km old.
Needs respray - have paint on hand that I can hand over with car.
I have a spare oil pump off of a 5S-FE (bolt on).
Can not afford to rebuild the engine (again) so I have to get rid of it asap.
Of course, you could just stick a new engine in as well if you don't feel like rebuilding it.
$850 o.n.o. - must sell asap! Make an offer!
Can supply pictures....front end is still rough, I have new engine splash guards etc but they are not currently attached as I've had to take stuff apart so many times now I just left 'em off
