First off there are two types of write offs, a statutory write off and a repairable write off.
A statutory write off can only be used for parts and can never be registered again. *whispers* In the case of old Celicas and such, the VIN number can easily be changed. *whispers*
A repairable write off can be registered after being repaired and inspected.
To find out if a vehicle is a statutory write off or a repairable write off, contact The Office of Fair Trading on 32461599.
If you decide to repair your repairable write off, contact QIS on 1300722411 to arrange a inspection.
