(Note to mods: sorry if this is in the wrong spot, I think it's about right!)

Hey all, just letting any of you PC car racing enthusiasts know there's a relatively new game called Richard Burns Rally. The physics are absolutely amazing, and the gameplay is really fun and extremely challenging.

The suspension calculations that it makes in realtime are huge, it'll be playing with how long your steering arms are, how long your springs are, and their resistance, if there's a helper spring etc, torsion of your swaybars and so on.

The power generation (how it works it out) is really good too, it actually calculates air flow by the size of the turbo wheel, the turbo housing size, the inlet manifold size, and compensates for intercooler loss and so on.

So if any of you are into rally, and have a higher end spec computer (this game requires per pixel shading) Try it out. A wheel is pretty much a must, with pedals that can brake and accelerate at the same time (split axis).

It's the closet to pushing a WRX to its limits on a rally course i've ever been! Smile

enjoy.
