salamandersushi Newcomer Location: Bunbury, Western Australia Registered: July 2005	3SFE timing belt not moving Tue, 05 July 2005 04:43 Hey all, Please bear with me, I dont know heaps about cars! Went to drive my SV21 camry on Sat night and started fine, drove for a little bit then it turned off by itself. Wouldnt restart. Next day I had a look at it and the starter motor is turning over, spinning the belts. When I opened up the cam cover and tried starting the engine, the timing belt wouldnt move! I really want to try and fix the engine myself, I cant afford to spend heaps on it as I am a poor arsed student! Does anyone know what the problem might be?! Any help is very greatly appreciated...
