After my little bingle last tuesday, the sprinter was up on a hoist, and fellow forum-goer 1bam777 was checking it out... said that there was no way that my rear drums were stock ones, and that they were probably from a celica or hilux. I also had a quick look at my friend's dead stock sprinter's diff, and the one that's in mine looks different. the housing is a slightly different shape and looks a bit bigger. i can't tell if that's just my imagination after seeing it up on the hoist (different angle) or if someone's done a full-on rear-end diff/drum swap on my car. i know the hilux rear-end conversion is a popular one, but i'd just like to know what's been done to this car in case i bugger up the rear end next time i bin it up a kerb...
