help Tacho problem - 18RGEU, haltech F9

hi
i got a new tacho for my truck ive been messing around with it for the arvo i followed the instructions that cam with it then for my crow cams fireball electronic ignition and im having a bit of trouble getting it working.
i connected it to the negative of the coil, nothing.
i have a hatech F9 does that have a tacho out wire? i cant find any documentation on the hatech.
the model of fireball ignition is hmm something 700.
can anyone suggest anything?
