Sat, 30 July 2005 07:04 Yesterday I was greeted with a sales guy handing out pamplets showing off the new fuels available at all United stations they are as follows: 94 RON - "Plus ULP" - 10% ethanol content was about $0.03 a liter cheaper than normal 91 RON ULP fuel 98 RON - "Boost 98" - 10% ethanol content again was about the same price as normal 91 RON ULP fuel I assume straight up that even though these are cheaper they are a false economy, but I do have an open mind. Also I thought that alcahol based fuels like to have twice as rich mixture so does this mean the fuel mixture will be more lean than optimum? any other issues with this fuel?
