how to send long parcels from Qld to WA?

I hope someone can help me with a freight problem?
i have to send a 1.6m antenna from Brisbane to WA
it's too long for auspost (1.02m is max length of anything)
the antenna is fibreglass so it cant be folded or taken apart into smaller bits
Anyone else sent over-sized stuff to/from WA? if so, how did you do it?
I'm going to ring some national courier companies (Toll, AAE for starters) on monday but perhaps there's something cheaper than them?
