as sed, i have both an 18RG and an 18RG efi setup for sale.
the engine is yet to be built, but will be built to buyers spec. has a 88230 block (yes, 9.7:1 pistons), where the piston and rod assy's will be balanced, will have new rings and bearings, crank has been mike'd and linished, and the rear mainseal groove has been metal sprayed and resurfaced about 5000 k's ago. head will be machined, and block decked, new valves, springs and guides, 230 cams (big lift and duration), and some porting and polishing done. will have new timing chains and serviced upper timing chain tensioner
can be supplied with points or electronic dizzy, and mid or rear sump and pickup. cams will be timed to buyers spec and dizzy will be timed well enuf to start.
motor supplied with no carbs or extractors. resurfaced flywheel will be supplied. other mods can be done upon request from buyer and at buyer's cost. asking $1400 for motor as described.
EFI setup avail to suit 18RG does not include pump, and fuel pressure regulator is suspect. Injectors have been fully cleaned, tested and serviced, and are in top notch cond. includes near new air and fuel filters, full loom, programmable ecu, thermostat housing which has been modified to fit the fuel rail. setup is currently running in an RA23 but will be removed sometime this week. asking $750 for efi setup.
asking $2000 together, and extractors can be sought to suit if desired.
