89cresta Occasional Poster Location: Adelaide Registered: August 2005	gearbox question Thu, 18 August 2005 03:30 hi, i just bought a drift spec sprinter from japan. it is only going to be for track work. but when i was driving it home (on trade plates) i noticed that it would not go into 2nd from third unless i was going 40k or under and with the car basically idling. does this mean the gearbox is on its way out? it doesn't crunch gears or anything else? any help will be appreciated [Report message to a moderator]
