K-Mac Strut Tops, Bent! Sun, 21 August 2005 10:48 Go to previous message
G'day all,
Alot of people say that the K-Mac strut tops bend quite easily and just to show you all that they do i thought i would post some pictures up of my bent K-Mac strut top. I bought my supra with the strut top like this and only just got around to fixing it.

That anodised plate is supposed to be flat, not bent on a 20 degree angle!

As you can see from the pictures they can deform quite alot! I think this may have happened due to racing in Targa. Sorry bout the poor quality of some of the pics Razz

As i said before i did get around to fixing this. All you need is a solid flat surface, 1 big hammer and a few other random tools Smile Then after a few minutes whacking the strut top back into shape you have the following result!

This is only a temp fix to get a proper wheel allignment done as my car pulls to the right, not ideal. When i get sufficent funds i will be getting some noltec ones hopefully!
