Wed, 14 September 2005 22:37 I ask because after recently repairing my diff in the sprinter and driving it for a short period I noticed that second gear was incredibly difficult to slot in then when it would go in it would grind as it was being selected ut once in it runs fine... Does it on down shift too. I doubt it could be low oil. Also of interest its a W55, I think. I just find it strange, I didnt think that it would be damaged by blowin a diff I thought these boxes were sposed to be strong??? anybody have a any ideas? and does anybody know if W58 gearsets will go into a W55 box?
