Smallport head on red/black top 4age

Yes i have searched  My question is more pertaining to the electircal systems.
The red/black top engine im refering to is the 7 rib bottom, no oil squirters, 9.4 comp, and a TVIS bigport head. My cousin is thinking about putting on a bare smallport head that i've got spare. I know they fit and he could just use the shims/cams from his current engine but...
What about the eleccy systems? eg, map sensor, dizzy, ECU, coils, ignitor? Can you just run these using the bigport ecu without any problems? Or will he need all the electricals/ecu from a smallport engine to run it?
I'm also fairly certain the green smallport injectors are high impedance... can you just use a converter to bring them back to low? Cheers.
