Rust on the roof of a Ae82 twincam Options?

Just wondering if anyone knows any fixes for rust on a ae82 twincam roof..
I will post pics, but basically its a hole about 6cm wide by 2 cm high, its where the top of the door meets the roof (but on the roof part not on the door, its eaten through and yeah there is a hole in the sill to the roof,
I'd have to get it cut out..
Anyone had exerience with this?
Expensive to fix?
I'm in melbourne!
