Well I'm new to the forums so a hi to everyone.

I'm really interested in making a lowlux, I have just under $9000 saved( not that much, but eh im 16 and get my p's in under a month )

Im trying to find out what a hilux is going to cost? I want to get a twincab, 1990 model since I've seen them done really nice.

Thanks everyone

Bloody hell i wish i could of managed to have $9000 saved by the time i was 16ish, let alone now(18 now). Sad
....with $9000 i could get both the bike AND the car i wanted Sad

But yeah try the trading post, or even car yards if you are desperate Razz
A mate of mine in Brisbane is looking to get a single cab hilux and make it into a lowlux

My opinion is that its a waste of money (considering they dont look good at all, apparently some think they do but to me they look shit, and they arent exactly performance cars either) but its not my choice now is it.

Man, I've been working since I was 9 years old... At the age of 16 I had $21,000 of my own money saved... Now half of it is gone on the car, insurance, mods and everyday spending... I can't guess how much would be in there if I didn't buy a car...

I love lowluxes!!! Ever since I saw an article about lowrider utes in Hot4s about 5 years ago, I loved them... And then everyone in my year 12 was impressed when Norm turned up in YEP 51K to accompany Jake in his Rolla taking me to the formal...

You need to make sure you put the http:// in front of the URL, otherwise it treats it as a relative path to the toymods URL.
